Finds Herring Guilty on Four Felony Counts
After a 5-week
trial, a Sonoma County jury came in on April 9th with their verdicts
in the attempted murder case of Rohnert Park pharmacist Dale Herring.
Herring was tried on nine felony charges in the July 5, 2002 physical
and sexual assault on Kimberly Ramming. Ramming died less than
two days later of drowning and an accidental overdose on drugs
allegedly supplied by Herring. Here are the verdicts and sentencing
exposures:

sentence will depend on whether Judge Boyd assigns the min./mid-term/max.
sentence and whether the terms are to be served concurrently (at
the same time) or consecutively (one term follows the other).
